- Sciara is a cinema production and distribution company with a particular focus on documentary, new technologies and social issues. The company’s aim is to consolidate a multi-discipline and cosmopolitan approach, using contemporary languages and promoting the value of social responsibility in all fields of the projects’ culture.The company has a network structure with its base in Sicily, and differing professional realities in Roma and Berlin. Sciara produced several documentaries with a wide range of contents, from the forms of architecture in Jerusalem within the Israeli-Palestinian conflict (a co-production with RAI Educational) to archaeology in Sicily, a film supported by the regional cinema fund of Sicily.
